Refund Policy
Before product ships: your £50 deposit is refundable any time, for any reason. After product ships: 30-day money back on your first month. Standard UK consumer cancellation rights apply on top of all of this.
1. Founders' deposit refunds
1.1 Anytime refund (voluntary policy)
You may request a full refund of your £50 founders' deposit at any time before WYN ships to you (expected Q3 2026), for any reason. No questions asked.
1.2 14-day statutory right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
You have a legal right to cancel any deposit within 14 days of the payment date without giving a reason. This is in addition to our anytime policy above.
1.3 Refund timeframe
Refunds are processed within 14 days of your written request, to the original payment method via Stripe. Stripe typically credits the card within 5–10 business days after we issue the refund.
1.4 How to request
Email hello@wynforlife.com with the subject "Refund deposit" and the email used at sign-up. Include your reason if you want to (optional).
2. The 30-day money-back guarantee on first month
When your subscription activates and the first month's WYN ships, you have 30 days from first delivery to evaluate. If WYN does not meet your expectations:
- Email us within those 30 days to request the money-back.
- We will refund 100% of your first month's charge (less any portion already credited from your £50 deposit, where applicable).
- You may keep, donate or return the product at your discretion. We do not require return shipping for the first-month guarantee.
3. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month. Once cancelled:
- No further payments are taken.
- You retain access to anything already shipped that month.
- Your founders' price lock is paused. If you re-subscribe within 6 months, the lock is restored. After 6 months, you re-enter at the then-current standard price.
4. Statutory cancellation rights (CCR 2013)
For physical product shipped under a distance contract:
- You may cancel within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason.
- If you wish to cancel after using or opening the product, your refund may be reduced to reflect a reasonable handling fee where the product has been used beyond what is necessary to assess it (this does not affect the 30-day money-back guarantee in clause 2 which is more generous).
- You must return the goods within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. Return postage is at your cost under statutory rights.
- Once we receive the goods, we refund the amount paid within 14 days.
For perishable goods or goods sealed for health/hygiene reasons that have been opened, statutory cancellation may not apply — our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee still does.
5. Damaged, defective or wrong product
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a product is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality:
- Within 30 days of delivery: you can reject the product and ask for a full refund.
- Within 6 months: you can ask for a free repair, replacement or refund.
- After 6 months: refunds may be reduced to reflect use.

6. Delayed shipping refund
If we have not shipped WYN by 31 December 2026, you may request a full refund of your deposit regardless of the reason for the delay. We will email founders with material schedule updates as they occur.
7. What is not refundable
- Months billed and shipped more than 30 days before a refund request (these were used or had time to be used).
- Discounted or promotional one-time purchases marked as final sale at checkout.
- Personalised or numbered products that have been customised at your request, except where defective.
8. Complaints and ADR
If you are unhappy with our refund handling, contact us first. If you remain unsatisfied, you may also escalate to:
- Citizens Advice consumer service — citizensadvice.org.uk (0808 223 1133)
- Trading Standards via your local authority
